The annual Snowball Trip occurred April 5-6 and all that attended had a lovely time. It is a weekend where students set up camp overnight and work together with team building activities and comradery to encourage sober, positive relationships.
One of the events the students participated in at Snowball was to have a “No Talent-Talent Show”. This year the show was held around 10 pm Friday night. Everyone loved the show.
This year’s theme at Snowball was Lip Sync. There was a Lip Sync contest to commemorate the theme. The battle was so much fun.
For the Lip Sync Battle kids from all of the 4 different schools in the district were split up into 10 different small groups. There were 2 adult staff members and and 1-2 teen staff members.
One of the most memorable Lip Sync battles was performed with the song Up Town Funk You Up by Bruno Mars. Students did a phenomenal performance. There were two groups that tied so there had to be another performance for the parents.
Overall, Snowball was a fun experience. It seems that all who attended would strongly recommend everybody should give it a try at least 1 of their 4 years in high school in BHSD228.
