The BHS Drama Club is proud to be working hard on bringing the musical Dare To Dream Jr. to life! Under the direction of Mr. Andrew Rybarczyk, Mr. Paul Melidona, and Mr. Ben Salgado, this show is full of energy, emotion, and heart.
The Drama club has been spending countless hours to make sure this performance is perfect! They have been meeting 3–5 times a week to rehearse lines, practice songs, and perfect choreography—and while it’s a lot of work, it’s also so much fun. Everyone can agree that they are always having a good time.
This production holds special meaning for all because it will be Mr. Rybarczyk’s final show at BHS. He’s poured so much into this program over the years, and the cast and crew seems so determined to make this one the best yet to honor his dedication. With a cast full of talent and a team that truly cares, Dare To Dream Jr. is shaping up to be something really special.
The show is packed with memorable musical numbers and choreography that bring the story to life in a vibrant, exciting way. You can catch our performances on April 24 and 25 at 6:30 p.m., and on April 26 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults—don’t miss out!
“Theatre has made a big impact on my life, and I’m glad to move on with everything I have learned,” explained Senior BHS Actress Mia Poland.
Fellow cast member Syvannah Walker couldn’t agree more.
“It has been amazing to grow with such a supportive group.” Walker said. “This show is truly something we’ve built together.”
