Braves Beyond the Classroom: Mixing/DJing and House Music

Mr. Rowley experiments with DJ equipment as he shows students how to mix music. In this April 30 Braves Beyond the Classroom session, students also learned about the history of house music and software DJs use in clubs around the world.

FCCLA state qualifiers proudly march through the halls of Bremen High School on April 9 as they prepare to head to the state competition. Bremen had 17 students qualify to represent the FCCLA program, which is run by Mrs. Tanya Mack.

Students in the building trades class at Bremen display their model sheds. The trades class focuses on a variety of skills and projects related to those trades. Students soon will be moving into the unit on what it takes to be an electrician.
Trades class hammers home life skills
Mrs. Sala, IMC specialist, gives a presentation on media literacy to Mrs. Dwyer 5th period Studies in Contemporary Literature class. The lesson, delivered on March 6, informed students about the importance of citing sources to ensure they do not plagiarize nor violate copyright laws.
