Bremen student David Santiago wheels around a grill to carry his belongings on Anything But A Backpack day. On this spirit day, students tapped into their creativity to use non-traditional items to carry their books and iPads throughout the school day.

On October 1st Bremen High School held the annual homecoming dance.  Students seemed so ready to have a fun filled dance.  This year’s theme was masquerade; with gold and black decorations and decorative eye-masks for all, the theme was one-of-a-kind.

As students entered the gymnasium for the dance, they couldn’t even tell that it was the typical main gym.  Amie Fuentes, Freshman, thought the dance was phenomenal.   “The dance was amazing and my date and I had a blast on the dance floor and the 360 photo booth was a great addition to the dance,” Fuentes exclaimed.

The tickets for the dance went on sale online starting Monday, September 26th.

The BHS spirit days helped to kick the school spirit out with a bang. Monday, September 26th was coined Adam Sandler day, Tuesday, September 27th was Jersey Day and Wednesday, September 28th was Anything But a Backpack Day.  Wednesday’s school spirit day was widely celebrated!  So many people brought multiple items to school to carry books and iPads in; there were even Remote Control cars zooming down the hallways carrying students items.

Thursday, 9/29 was Throwback as students dressed in different past fashion era’s trends and Friday 9/30 students wore Class Colors

The School Spirit week was totally optional to participate but was very much recommended because it is a very fun way to show off your school spirit.

At the dance there was a DJ that took requests from the students.  The students could submit a song request through the email shared with everyone; students were allowed to submit up to 3 requests.

In addition, Ms.Rauch, student council sponsor, worked so hard to make sure that students put on the very best event.  “At the dance there was a 360 Photo Stand that fit 3 people; there was also a Selfie Station. One part of the dance that the students seemed to really appreciate was that there were snacks and drinks provided,” explained Rauch.

Attending the 2022 BHS Homecoming was a great time; it will be a memory that students will never forget.
